Inter Milan's 2-1 first leg Champions League victory over Chelsea will certainly go down as a highlight for Jose Mourinho in Italy. [LNB]But how does that night stand up against some of the Special One's best moments at Stamford Bridge? [LNB]There were many memorable moments during his three-year tenure with the Blues, some on the pitch and some off it.[LNB]We celebrate some of the Portugeezer's more enduring memories.[LNB]Sprinting out of the trapsMourinho was making his mark in England even before he had moved to Chelsea. And what a mark it was! [LNB]A dramatic last-minute Francisco Costinha strike for Porto knocked United out of the Champions League and the Portuguese's celebration was just as memorable. [LNB]A second after hitting the back of the net he went haring off down the touchline, arms flailing in a wild celebration. [LNB]Sir Alex Ferguson looked glum as his side crashed out - Porto went on to become champions of Europe.[LNB]Video: Jose goes bananas[LNB][LNB]Special delivery We were left in no doubt as to the nature of the character that had arrived on our shores just moments into his first press conference. [LNB]Jose arrived at Chelsea in June 2004 on an initial salary of £4.2m. And during his first meeting with the awaiting press, he uttered those immortal words.[LNB] 'We have top players and, sorry if I'm arrogant, we have a top manager. Please don't call me arrogant, but I'm European champion and I think I'm a special one.' [LNB]Brilliant. [LNB]And they won their titles in some style, too.  The Blues finished top with a commanding 12 point margin over second-placed Arsenal in 2005. And eight points was the difference between them and Manchester United the following year. [LNB]In a real show of generosity, after having been presented with his league winner's medal in 2006, Jose hurled his medal and club blazer into the crowd. [LNB]He stated that he did it because he did not need another them and wanted to reward the crowd for their support. [LNB]The supporter who caught the medal recently sold it at auction for £16,800.[LNB]It's a dog's lifeMost of us found this little episode quite amusing. Unfortunately, the Metropolitan police and local council officers did not.[LNB]Mourinho was arrested and cautioned in May 2007 after allegedly refusing to allow police to quarantine his pet dog, a Yorkshire Terrier called Leya. [LNB]Police and officials had arrived at the Mourinho household in west London to seize the dog as it did not have the correct documents.[LNB]But Jose came to the rescue: he hid the dog and told officers the pet had been 'sent to St Tropez. He was subsequently arrested for obstructing police officers. [LNB]Video: Jose's canine caper[LNB][LNB]You can't make an omelette The end had to come some time and the split between Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich and Mourinho was one of those very public and acrimonious affairs.[LNB]The Blues' boss wanted yet more money for new players but the Russian wasn't forthcoming with the money and so Mourinho made this brief but clear statement.[LNB]'If you have no eggs, you have no omelette. And it depends upon the quality of the eggs. Some are more expensive than others and some give you better omelettes.[LNB]'So when the class one eggs are in Waitrose and you cannot go there, you have a problem.'[LNB]Two days later, he was gone.[LNB]Video: Mourinho's recipe for tasty football[LNB][LNB] Mourinho is a joke!
