Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho says it would be a pleasure to work with Chelsea pair Deco and Ricardo Carvalho again.
The Serie A champions' president Massimo Moratti is working hard to bring the pair to the San Siro to link up with their former boss.
While Mourinho admits the situation is out of his hands, he has reiterated his liking for the pair.
The Portuguese tactician said: "They are Chelsea players. I don't like to talk about other clubs' players.
"They used to be my players and it would be a pleasure to have them again in the future.
"But it is Chelsea that must decide what to do."
Mourinho managed the pair at Porto and Carvalho then moved to Chelsea in 2004 to re-join his former boss.
But he endured a frustrating campaign last term, with his appearances limited by injury, and he has since said he believes his time at Stamford Bridge has come to an end and that he love to work with Mourinho again.
Compatriot Deco joined Chelsea from Barcelona last summer but also suffered injuries, making just 22 league appearances last season.
