John Terry has admitted Chelsea cannot cope with any more injuries and suspensions.

The club recently boasted the strongest side in England but ditched experienced players for younger men.

They have struggled after injuries to Terry, Frank Lampard and Michael Essien, winning just one of their last seven league games and slumping to fourth in the table.

'We've missed key players at key times and it is a case of keeping everyone fit now over the Christmas period,' said the Chelsea captain.

'In the past, we had a big squad and could rotate. We don't have that now.'
