John Terry is unlikely to lead England out against world champions Spain at Wembley on Saturday even though manager Fabio Capello will include him in his squad. [LNB]The Chelsea captain has Capello's support while he contests allegations that he racially abused the QPR defender Anton Ferdinand. But while Terry will on Sunday be named in the squad to face Spain and Sweden, at Wembley three days later, Capello says he wants to rest his captain and experiment with different players. [LNB] 17 points: Anton Ferdinand (right) contradicted Terry's account of events[LNB]Capello met Terry at Chelsea's training ground on Friday to inform him of the decision after clearing the player's selection with FA chiefs. Capello told Terry he is unlikely to play against Spain because the England manager wants to try younger, less experienced players. But it is planned that Terry will play one half against Sweden. [LNB]Capello said on Saturday: 'We had a meeting with the FA on Friday. We spoke about John Terry. I think he is innocent until proven guilty. For this reason, I selected him. [LNB]'On Friday I told him I don't know if he will play [against Spain] because I want to see new players and he was happy. If he does not play, it is only for football reasons. I want to see [Joleon] Lescott, [Gary] Cahill and [Phil] Jagielka play at the top levels.' [LNB] Left out: Terry won't start against Spain[LNB]Rio Ferdinand, Anton Ferdinand's older brother, will not be not in the squad for the two friendlies but Capello denied that the former England captain's exclusion was because of fears that his selection might cause problems with Terry. [LNB]Capello cited Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson, who has said that the central defender needs more games before being fully back to his best, as a reason for excluding him.
