Ivanovic poised for Blues extension
Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic is close to signing a contract extension at Stamford Bridge, according to his agent.[LNB] The Serbian has been linked by the Italian press with a move to Juventus in the winter transfer window, where he would play alongside compatriot Milos Krasic.[LNB]However, Ivanovic's agent Vlado Borozan vehemently denied those rumours.[LNB]"There is no truth regarding contact between Ivanovic and Juve," said Borozan to Tuttomercatoweb.com.[LNB]"Those rumours are without foundation.[LNB]"I believe the link may have been made due to the fact that my partner (Dejan) Joksmovic is Krasic's agent and that Ivanovic's contract will expire in June 2011.[LNB]"But the lad is about to sign a contract extension with Chelsea so I really don't think he will be moving away."[LNB]Ivanovic, 26, joined Chelsea from Lokomotiv Moscow in January 2008.[LNB]
