It's a London thing: West Ham join Chelsea in race for City starlet Sturridge
West Ham are making a bold bid to tempt Daniel Sturridge into joining them.
Chelsea have a deal in place for the Manchester City striker, 19, who is a free agent but will be subject to a development compensation claim of around £10million.
The prospect of working with Gianfranco Zola is appealing to Sturridge but Chelsea remain favourites.
