Is Falcao to Chelsea a done deal?

The Blues are so sure Falcao will be heading for Stamford Bridge that they snubbed the chance to sign Edison Cavani, despite being told the Napoli forward would welcome a move to London.

Instead Chelsea are chasing the signatures of Falcao and Leverkusen forward Andre Schurrle.

It all seems likely, as Chelsea owner Roman Abramovic will commit to not only the £47M buy-out fee, but also fund the Colombian international a generous £200,000 a-week.

So what will happen to the likes of Torres? Well, it has to be the end for him. In an ideal world, Chelsea could offer Atletico their golden boy back, in exchange for Falcao. But they’d have to throw some money in to the mix too.

Falcao is on the radar for Europe’s top clubs after starring for Atletico Madrid in La Liga this season. Since joining the Spaniards in 2011, the former Porto ace has scored 65 goals in 81 appearances.
