Inter Milan v Chelsea: 'the whole of Italy' wants Jose Mourinho to lose, says Carlo Ancelotti
Mourinho and Ancelotti had a strained relationship when the Italian was in charge of Inter's city rivals AC Milan. And that hasn't changed, regardless of Ancelotti's switch to Stamford Bridge. Despite proving an instant success with Inter, winning the Serie A title last season, Mourinho has never earned the same affection from Italian football fans and officials as he did in England. Inter defenders Walter Samuel and Ivan Cordoba both saw red during the goalless draw at the San Siro, promoting Mourinho to cross his arms in a gesture which has been interpreted as his way of suggesting his side were being victimised by officials. And now, thanks to Mourinho's behaviour, Ancelotti has fresh ammunition to use against his rival, telling Il Giornale: "The whole of Italy, Inter fans excluded, will be supporting Chelsea."
