Inter make Lampard a priority

Internazionale president Massimo Moratti is confident that he will be able to bring Chelsea and England midfielder Frank Lampard to the San Siro this summer. The 29-year-old has spent the last seven years at Stamford Bridge but could be reunited with his former Blues boss Jose Mourinho in Milan, after the Portuguese coach was installed as Roberto Mancini's successor at Inter. The Nerazzurri president confirmed to Corriere dello Sport: "Lampard? We like him, and he's our number one objective. "Mourinho likes Lampard a lot. We all know that he's a great player. "Has there been contact with Chelsea? I think there has but I don't know yet." Meanwhile, Moratti has cooled talk of Barcelona midfielder moving to Inter, adding: "Deco has the right characteristics to play for Inter, but we can't all have him. "Forty million euros to buy Quaresma? That seems an absurd amount which we have no intention of paying. "And Cristiano Ronaldo? Oh yeah, he's another one who won't cost us much!"
