Inter Milan linked with Chelsea's John Obi Mikel

Jose Mourinho, coach of the Italian champions, controversially signed Mikel from Norwegian club Lyn Oslo in 2006. And, according to the Sun, Mourinho sees the Nigerian as a long-term successor to Partick Vieira at the San Siro. Mikel has impressed for Chelsea this season, but has lost his place in the side since the return to fitness of Michael Essien. If Mikel does head from Chelsea to the San Siro, then AC Milan's Carlo Ancelotti could move in the opposite direction this summer. Ancelotti has long been linked with the Stamford Bridge job, and Chelsea officials are understood to have held talks with the Rossoneri coach in Italy on Monday night. It has been widely reported that Chelsea offered Ancelotti an ultimatum to avoid an extended period of uncertainty. However, the decorated Italian claims he will not be held to a timeline. 'It is not a problem which concerns me,' he said. 'I don't have to give my availability. The time has not yet come for me to be replaced at Milan. 'It's easier to win in Europe with Milan than with other clubs so I am staying here.'
