Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea face a battle with Juventus and Inter Milan to clinch the signature of Porto forward Jackson Martinez.
The Colombian has netted 22 goals in just 20 league games this season and is rated as one of the hottest strikers in European football.
Both Sir Alex Ferguson and Brendan Rodgers are looking to bolster their forward line during the summer, but they will have to act quickly as Italian newspaper Tuttosport is reporting that both Juventus and Milan are making advanced moves to sign the 26-year-old.
Martinez has a €40m release clause in his contract, but it remains to be seen if clubs will be willing to match that figure at the end of the season.
