Scunthorpe United have agreed a loan deal for the rest of the season for Chelsea reserve full-back Ben Gordon. But 19-year-old Gordon's debut will be delayed by a hamstring injury picked up while on loan at Kilmarnock, which will keep him out for three weeks. [LNB]"It was us that went to Chelsea and asked the question," Iron manager Ian Baraclough told BBC Sport. [LNB]"Chelsea see we're the right club to enhance his career. He's a bright lad who's comfortable on the ball." [LNB]Young Yorkshireman Gordon came through the Leeds Academy system before moving to Stamford Bridge in 2007 for compensation. [LNB]The Bradford lad has been on loan with Scottish Premier League side Kilmarnock since the summer, making 21 appearances for Mixu Paatelainen's men. [LNB]But, after picking up his hamstring injury in his final appearance for Killie, in their 2-0 win at St Mirren on Monday, Gordon will have to wait for his Scunny debut. [LNB]"I would have been delighted to have him for Saturday's FA Cup tie against Everton," said Iron boss Baraclough. "But that's been put back a little bit now."[LNB] He is playing every game which is something I have not been able to offer him Scunthorpe United manager Ian Baraclough on Bobby Grant Meanwhile, Baraclough is happy that midfielder Bobby Grant is getting the most out of his loan spell under Keith Hill at League One side Rochdale. [LNB]The 19-year-old midfielder, who joined Dale in November after finding first team opportunities limited at Glanford Park, is expected to stop on at Spotland until the end of the season, once his current loan runs out in February. [LNB]And Baraclough told BBC Radio Humberside: "Bobby is gaining good experience, playing in every game. [LNB]"He is happy to stay there, I am happy for him to stay there, as is Keith Hill. All parties are happy." [LNB]Grant signed for Scunthorpe from Accrington Stanley in July 2010, for a fee which could rise up to £260,000, but he has only made one league start all season. [LNB]He scored on his Rochdale debut in a 3-3 draw with Swindon Town, and has featured in every match during his stay in Lancashire. [LNB]Another Iron player, 23-year-old goalkeeper Josh Lillis is also currently on loan at Rochdale, his second spell at the club.
