Iaquinta focussed on Juve

Juventus striker Vincenzo Iaquinta has ruled out the possibility of heading to England with Chelsea this month.

Blues boss Carlo Ancelotti was rumoured to be considering a bid for the Italy striker after losing Didier Drogba to African Cup of Nations duty for the remainder of this month.

The easing of the transfer ban placed on the Stamford Bridge club for this transfer window had also added to the speculation.

However, Iaquinta, who scored four goals in his first eight appearances this season before being injured, claims he is happy in Serie A and not interested in a transfer.

"I'm flattered by market rumours, but I'm interested only in Juventus," he told the club's official website.

"I feel good here and I don't want to leave. I've been sorry to have not been able to help the team in this period of difficulty, but now I'm ready to give my help.

"I believe in this group, in this club and it's people. We are convinced that we still have possibilities to do well and for this reason market rumours should not distract us from our sporting objectives."
