Hughes tired of Terry talk

Manchester City boss Mark Hughes has called for the ongoing John Terry transfer saga to be put to one side. The Chelsea skipper has been strongly linked with a move to Eastlands this summer, with City openly admitting to holding an interest in the England international. Terry's reluctance to comment on the matter has done little to silence the rumours, despite his current employers insisting they have no intention of selling. Hughes has revealed at regular intervals that he remains keen on securing a deal for Terry, keeping the ball firmly in Chelsea's court. However, with a move now looking increasingly unlikely, the Blues boss is keen to turn his focus on those already at the club. Carlos Tevez, Roque Santa Cruz, Emmanuel Adebayor and Gareth Barry have all arrived for big money and Hughes claims integrating the new recruits into his squad remains his top priority. "We keep on discussing certain individuals and we keep on trying to give the same response. There is no value from our point of view to keep on saying the same things," Hughes told Sky Sports News. "I'd much rather prefer to talk about the players we have signed. Really that's where my focus lies in the coming days. "Obviously the situation with other players, and whether they come to the club, may well be resolved in the completion of the transfer window. But there is no news to add, so why discuss it?" Chelsea have blasted City for the manner in which they have gone about attempting to lure Terry away from Stamford Bridge, but Hughes insists his side have done nothing wrong. "I don't think there is any doubt about that," he said.
