Home grown Moyes bemoans Dutchman's triumph after Chelsea win

Guus Hiddink hailed winning the FA as one of the greatest achievements of his career, but Everton counterpart David Moyes claimed Chelsea's victory was a blow for homegrown bosses. The Scot had made it his personal mission to stop the Premier League's latest foreign manager from leaving the country with a trophy to his name after less than half a season in the job. 'I thought it was important for the Premier League for us to win today,' said Moyes. 'I don't think any of the managers would have liked Guus Hiddink to come in and take the trophy very quickly. 'You have to work really hard in this league to win anything, so I think the League Managers' Association would have been saying he's come in and won the trophy in what? Three and a half months? 'This is a strong country for football and we take it very seriously, so I wanted to try to beat Guus Hiddink.'
