Hiddink rues missed chance

Guus Hiddink was left to rue a missed opportunity after his side lost 1-0 at Tottenham on Sunday.[LNB] Chelsea failed to capitalise on leaders Manchester United slipping up at Fulham by losing themselves, 1-0 at Tottenham, and missing the chance to go to within one point of the champions.[LNB]The Dutchman will have to wait to dissect the game as he jets off to take charge of his Russia squad for their World Cup qualifiers against Azerbaijan and Lichtenstein.[LNB]Despite the Blues suffering their first defeat under Hiddink the former PSV boss insists that his side are still in with a chance in the title race.[LNB]"Everyone has to do international duties. Then we'll be back and the two roads are ahead of us," he said.[LNB]Learn lessons"We talked to Ray Wilkins and the team about this. We have two roads to go and if we want to be a success on those two roads we have to learn a very big lesson.[LNB]"It's not over but they have a game in hand and when Manchester United are losing, these are key moments.[LNB]"We cannot afford to lose two or three points when chasing and coming towards the end of the season.[LNB]"That was the ideal moment and when you don't get those moments then you have to blame yourself.[LNB]"We do not give up. Everyone in this business knows when you are in the lead and you drop points you get persecuted most of the time.[LNB]"This was an ideal moment to catch them."[LNB]
