Guus Hiddink admits that Chelsea are unlikely to topple Manchester United despite the Barclays Premier League champions' crushing defeat to Liverpool. His side moved to within four points of United and level on goal difference with a 1-0 defeat of Manchester City on Sunday, but the Dutchman admits it will be extremely difficult to get the better of Sir Alex Ferguson's men. Liverpool breathed life into the title race with a 4-1 win at Old Trafford on Saturday, but United still have a game in hand on the chasing pack. Asked if Chelsea could catch up, Hiddink said: 'Of course, that is the task we are facing. But, objectively speaking, it will be extremely difficult to achieve. 'Don't forget that Manchester have a game in hand and, moreover, they have a lot of experience of winning the league. All I can promise is that Chelsea will fight to the bitter end.' In the interview with Russian newspaper Sovetski Sport, the Chelsea coach indicated his side had a better chance in the Champions League. Hiddink, speaking ahead of Friday's Champions League quarter-final draw in Nyon, said: 'We are in the best eight clubs in Europe and each of them harbours ambitious plans. Chelsea are no exception.' Hiddink has led Chelsea to four consecutive league victories since taking over from Luiz Felipe Scolari and said there was a simple reason for the transformation. 'You perfectly know my way - work, work and more work,' said Hiddink. 'That has been the principle since my first day in London. So far, so good. We started in fourth place in the Premier League, now we are second.'
