Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink was delighted to book a safe passage into the FA Cup semi-finals on Saturday. The Blues overcame Coventry 2-0 at the Ricoh Arena to ensure that they will be heading to Wembley in the last four. Didier Drogba and Alex got the goals for Hiddink's side, ensuring his 100 per cent start to life at Stamford Bridge. The Blues endured a difficult build up to their weekend encounter, following Ashley Cole's arrest, but bounced back in impressive style. Hiddink said: "We had one little thing to cope with before the match but it did not dominate what is happening at Chelsea. "Yesterday we had this one issue but it was important that it did not cause friction in the team." The Dutchman also felt that his players coped admirably with Coventry's direct approach to proceedings. He said: "It is not easy with the way Coventry play with the long balls up to their strikers but we managed to control them and play well. "We scored a beautiful first goal although we were a bit sloppy when scoring a second goal after playing so well in the first half."
