Guus Hiddink has warned his Chelsea players to take more responsibility and make sure they play to the best of their ability.[LNB] The Dutchman has taken charge at Stamford Bridge until the end of the season following the sacking of Luiz Felipe Scolari earlier this month.[LNB]Scolari paid the price for a series of disappointing performances over the last few weeks but Hiddink insists it is now up to the players to improve.[LNB]"The players must deliver up to their standard, up to the club's standard," he said in the Daily Mirror.[LNB]"I don't give them any excuses.[LNB]"Once the manager has prepared the plans for the game then the execution is up to the players.[LNB]"I like to have a recognised hierarchy in my team because they can help boss the younger players and I see that as healthy.[LNB]"If you take the responsibility then you have the right to fail every now and then, because they are human as well."[LNB]Limited powerHiddink stressed on Friday that he has no plans to stay in the role beyond the summer as he is committed to coaching Russia.[LNB]He realises he will be expected to turn around Chelsea's fortunes but he is not feeling under too much pressure.[LNB]"At the end of the season I cannot be sacked," he said.[LNB]"Before? Maybe. But not at the end of the season because our working relationship ends then.[LNB]"All I can do is work as I am used to doing. A manager has power, but not limited power because when you bring in your ideas it is not a revolution.[LNB]"The players have to cope with the ideas and execute them."[LNB]
