Real Madrid defender Gabriel Heinze has conceded he would be interested in playing Premier League football again. The 31-year-old Argentine defender spent three seasons with Manchester United before joining Real in 2007. Although Heinze is contracted to the Santiago Bernabeu outfit until 2010 he has been linked with a return to England's top flight. Liverpool have now joined the likes of Chelsea, Manchester City and Spurs in being credited with an interest in the defender. The Reds are on the lookout for a new defender after losing veteran Sami Hyypia when he joined Bayer Leverkusen on a two-year deal. Destination unknown Heinze is aware of the interest in his services but concedes he does not know where his future lies. "I would not mind playing Premier League football again," conceded Heinze. "I am aware that several clubs are interested, but I must speak with Real Madrid first. "I have no idea of where I am going to end up and I am yet to think about my future."
