Peter Kenyon said last week that 'there have been no discussions at all' about Guus Hiddink staying at Chelsea beyond the end of the May.[LNB]The chief executive's words always lacked credibility but it has to be some sort of a record for him to be so clearly contradicted by his stand-in manager two days later.[LNB]Hiddink, who had already said people had tried to persuade him to stay on without specifying whom, then cleared things up.[LNB] [LNB]Which of you two was it? Guss Hiddink questions Peter Kenyon and Roman Abramovich as to the source of the leak[LNB]'There had to be a contract or my work in Chelsea would be impossible from a legal point of view. Yes, there is such a contract. It expires on May 31,' said Hiddink.[LNB]'They offered me to continue working for them after that date as a consultant.'[LNB] More from Hatchet Man...
