HATCHET MAN: Abramovich will be the Bond villain yet again if he allows daydream believer Ancelotti

Carlo Ancelotti is already under pressure to deliver something stunning when he takes charge at Chelsea. Even before he has publicly accepted the job the AC Milan boss who is set to move to Stamford Bridge this summer has made life difficult for himself with his  autobiography. Either he makes a spectacular entrance or the club are facing another short-term appointment in which they seem out of touch. Guus Hiddink may be a grounded, convincing and authoritative manager but his predecessor, Luiz Felipe Scolari wasn't and neither is Ancelotti. All that talk in his autobiography about imagining himself as James Bond when he was just going to a meeting will have made him a laughing stock in the Chelsea dressing room. Revealing that owner Roman Abramovich dismissed the team as having no  personality won't help either - even if the Russian Oligarch is mistaking a lack of beauty for insufficient character. The powerful Chelsea players have character in spades and the odd behaviour of  Ancelotti - who was set to take charge of the team a year ago - will be hard for the them to take and could lead to serious problems.
