Guus Hiddink to urge Chelsea to choose Frank Rijkaard or Marco van Basten

Guus Hiddink will nominate fellow Dutchmen Marco van Basten and Frank Rijkaard aspotential successors to Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti instead of making himself available.[LNB]Turkey boss Hiddink prefers being an international manager instead of having the day-to-day responsibilities of a club coach. [LNB]Hiddink is, therefore, more likely to fill the role of sporting director which will be vacatedwhen Frank Arnsesen leaves for SV Hamburg this summer.[LNB] Close connection: Abramovich (right) is reportedly keen for Hiddink (second left) to return to Chelsea[LNB]Yet as the preferred candidate of many to take over from Ancelotti, who is likely to leaveafter a season of no silverware, Hiddink just might be persuaded to take over given the close ties he has always maintained with owner Roman Abramovich. He paid half of the Dutchman's ?5million salary when Hiddink was Russian manager.[LNB]Hiddink answered the call from Abramovich when Luiz Felipe Scolari was sacked in February 2009, taking the reins until the end of that season.[LNB]But he and his partner, Liesbeth Pinas, value the relative privacy and normal lives they can enjoy in Amsterdam, afforded to them by international management.[LNB] Double Dutch: Rikjaard (left) and Van Basten have been linked with Chelsea[LNB]Hiddink would also be reluctant to break his contract with Turkey before the Euro 2012 qualifiers end in November, meaning that replacing Arnesen as sporting director in the autumn would suit him better.[LNB]Hiddink knows Chelsea's situation well. Following his six-month tenure there, he wasasked to review the management structure and compiled a report for Abramovich, recommending that he retain key backroom staff and try to bring stability.[LNB]Hiddink, however, would push for Van Basten, who completed his coaching badges at Chelsea. He is now ready to return to club management after a long break from the game after leaving Ajax in 2009.[LNB]Rijkaard is also close to Hiddink and has the benefit of a cv that includes a European Cup win and two league titles at Barcelona, although he did struggle at hisprevious club, Galatasaray.[LNB]  West Brom 1 Chelsea 3: Drogba leads fightback to end Roy's unbeaten runGuus raid is no Turkey shoot for Chelsea as they face battle for HiddinkFormer Chelsea boss Hoddle urges caution over replacing Ancelotti EXCLUSIVE: Get Guus!
