Guardiola picks Henry for Barca squad to face Chelsea, despite knee injury

Thierry Henry will travel with the Barcelona team today as manager Pep Guardiola pinned his hopes on the striker making a full recovery from a troublesomeknee injury. The former Arsenal forward, who has formed a lethal attacking partnership with Lionel Messi and Samuel Eto'o, missed training yesterday and went for treatment instead. Henry feared he would miss tomorrow's Champions League semi-final second leg atStamford Bridge, but Guardiola appears increasingly confident the striker will be fit intime. Henry suffered the injury to his right knee during the 6-2 victoryover Real Madrid in the Bernabeu on Saturday evening and has beenapplying ice to the affected area as heattempts to alleviate the pain. The Barcelona striker scored twice against Real as the Catalangiants took another step towards winning their 20th La Liga title, butthey will turn their attention to winning their Champions Leaguesemi-final, after drawing the first leg 0-0 at the Nou Camp,when they train at Stamford Bridge this evening.
