Chelsea manager Avram Grant has once again spoken of his desire to make his side more entertaining as he prepares the Blues for Wednesday's Champions League encounter with Schalke at Stamford Bridge.
Jose Mourinho left the club in the wake of last month's dismal 1-1 draw with Rosenborg, but since losing 2-0 at Manchester United in Grant's first game in charge, Chelsea have won four and drawn one of their last five matches, conceding only one goal in the process.
The pick of those games was the 2-1 win in Valencia that has left Grant's side in a strong position to qualify for the knockout stages of the Champions League.
Grant said: "We lost two points here against Rosenborg so it's important we win (against Schalke), but the way we win is also important.
"It's about playing good football, too. It's not easy to start coaching when you don't come in at the beginning of the year but, step by step, we're doing the right things both on the training pitch and in games.
"Any new manager has to show the fans that he can improve things. That's easier if you win a few games.
"The season is only a few months old but we're improving. Now we must play even better."
