Chelsea boss Avram Grant has cooled fears over John Terry's fitness after revealing his skipper did not suffer a broken metatarsal during Sunday's 1-0 defeat by Arsenal.
The Blues and England captain limped off late in the first half at the Emirates Stadium after being caught on the top of the foot by a late Emmanuel Eboue challenge.
Terry was immediately sent for X-rays and, although the full extent of the injury is not yet known, Grant revealed there is no bone break.
The 27-year-old's season has been ravaged by injury following a fractured cheekbone and surgery to repair knee ligament damage.
Terry has featured in just 11 of Chelsea's 16 Premier League games in the current campaign.
"It was a bad injury. It was bad for us, especially after losing so many players (to injury before the match)," said the Israeli coach.
"He is not feeling well but he didn't break anything. We will wait for tomorrow to see how it is.
"The (potential) ligament (damage) will wait for tomorrow."
