New Chelsea manager Avram Grant insists his players are 100 per cent committed to the club following their 4-0 Carling Cup demolition of Hull City.
The Israeli coach picked up his first win at the Chelsea helm in the third round of the League Cup on Tuesday evening and believes the Stamford Bridge dressing room is beginning to calm down following the shock departure of Jose Mourinho last week.
"They are fantastic. I see them in training and you saw them in the game - their attitude is very good," he said.
"That makes me very happy because it is important for me to know that the club means more to them than anything else.
"The dressing room is very good - you can see it on the pitch. Off the pitch, I believe Chelsea players are 100 per cent committed to the club.
"I want them to be committed to the club, not to me, and after one week I am very happy with their attitude."
Meanwhile, Grant claims he wants to bring a more attacking style to Chelsea's play.
Predecessor Mourinho had been criticised for a perceived lack of flair, but the Blues coasted into the quarter-final draw after goals from Scott Sinclair, Steve Sidwell and a brace from Salomon Kalou.
"Our target is to score many goals and play attacking, open football - but not too open sometimes," he continued.
"I want the team to score as much as possible, although I cannot guarantee this.
"But I did like the goals we scored and I hope we can continue on this basis.
"I want Chelsea to continue playing that kind of football."
