Avram Grant has urged Chelsea to keep Didier Drogba at the club despite uncertainty over the striker's future following his Champions League disgrace. [LNB] Drogba looks certain to face heavy punishment from UEFA after his behaviour against Norwegian referee Tom Henning Ovrebo at the end of last week's semi-final against Barcelona. [LNB] Grant, speaking at the footballex forum in London, said: "He is one of the best strikers in the world so of course he should stay. He made a mistake and he has apologised but he is a very important player for the club." [LNB] Grant said he was thinking over an offer from a top-flight club but would not confirm suggestions that Portsmouth have approached him about becoming director of football.
