First confirmation of summer activity Chelsea chief executive confirmed today that Chelsea will definately sign two or three players this summer. Prior to his announcemnt in the Far East, Chelsea have flatly refused to state what they plan to do player-wise. Gourlay had suggested earlier this week that they may sign a couple of players. Speaking in Bangkok ahead of the club's pre-season matches there, Goulay said:"I am delighted to be bringing the team here next month. "The first question I am asked is 'Are you bringing your first team when you come to Bangkok?'. The answer to that is definitely yes, so it will be the full squad of players. There will be two or three new players in the team and we will certainly be bringing our strongest team. "It's been a long time since we were here in Bangkok though we did play in Asia-Pacific three years ago. "The team are very much looking forward to coming here. One or two of the players have been here but the [majority] of the team haven't been. They are really looking forward to it; I tried to explain to them the fantastic reception we will undoubtedly get when we arrive here, particularly in Bangkok because not only has the fan base been supportive but the media too, and I hope that will continue in the future." Now it's just a question of who will be sporting Chelsea blue next season?
