Gattuso - Carlo staying put

AC Milan star Gennaro Gattuso claims Carlo Ancelotti will not be joining Chelsea as the coach plans to stay with the Rossoneri. Widespread reports have suggested Chelsea have made Ancelotti their top target to succeed Guus Hiddink at Stamford Bridge next season. Speculation about Ancelotti's long-term future at San Siro intensified after Milan owner Silvo Berlusconi was quoted as blaming the coach for the club's failure to win the Serie A title this season. Gattuso, who is currently recovering from a cruciate knee ligament injury, believes the rumours are wrong and that Ancelotti wants to stay with the Italian giants. "I understand that Ancelotti is valued here and that he wants to stay put," Gattuso told La Gazzetta dello Sport. "What the president says is law but I think we've had a few injuries which made a difference and Inter deserve the title."
