Galatasaray v Chelsea factfile

Factfile on Galatasaray and Chelsea ahead of the Champions League last 16, first leg tie between the clubs on Wednesday:

Form: After a slow start to Jose Mourinho's second spell in charge at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea are now looking much more like their old selves. A run of 12 games unbeaten has taken them to the top of the Premier League, a point clear of Arsenal, and they showed superb battling spirit to conjure up a stoppage-time winner against Everton at the weekend. Galatasaray's fight to win a third successive Turkish title has been boosted by a sequence of 11 games without losing, including a 1-0 weekend win against Istanbul rivals Besiktas. They remain second to Fenerbahce in their domestic table, but Roberto Mancini was brought in to help achieve success in Europe, and he made a decent start by taking them through to the last 16 at the expense of Juventus.
