Frank Lampard: Chelsea unlucky to visit Newcastle for Alan Shearer's first game

Lampard and Chelsea captain John Terry are well aware of the mood on Tyneside and were as surprised as anyone by the dramatic events of the past four days. "We're a bit unfortunate," said the Chelsea midfielder. "We played Manchester City in their first game after they'd signed Robinho and there was a party atmosphere and now we go to Newcastle with Shearer's return.  Related ArticlesLove for Newcastle convinced ShearerChelsea join the Twitter revolutionPremier League team newsChelsea target YoungMourinho wants to win La LigaChelsea and United wont play new hands"It will generate a huge atmosphere and we need to use that to our advantage. There will be pressure on them. They will be fighting to stay up." Terry thinks the first 15 minutes could be crucial in dictating the atmosphere for a match that will have implications at both ends of the Premier League table. "We need to make sure we go there, keep things tight in the first 10, 15 minutes and not let the fans be [Newcastle's] extra man," he said. "With Alan Shearer there, he is going to be pushing them to kick on but we are still fighting for the title so it will be a good clash. "They are going to be full of beans and ready to go."
