Delay: Frank Lampard has picked up a groin injury after hernia surgery [LNB]Frank Lampard will not be rushed back by Chelsea after suffering complications in his recovery from injury. [LNB]With Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti away because of the death of his father, the club's assistant boss Ray Wilkins stepped in to deny that the England midfielder is being considered for a return within the next fortnight.[LNB]Wilkins said: 'He's recovered from the hernia problem. But, in the meantime, he's got a slight groin problem which has given him a few more problems. [LNB]'He joined us for a part of training and just didn't feel comfortable. It's vital we get Frank right. He has played with problems in the past for a long period.'[LNB]Lampard is not Chelsea's only injury worry but Wilkins explained that the situation is improving. [LNB]'Jose Bosingwa is back with the boys,' he said. [LNB]'He has been training with us for 10 days. It's been a nasty time for him but he played 45 minutes, then another 75 minutes, for the reserves. [LNB]'Ideally we'd like to give him 90 minutes before he's considered for the first team.[LNB]'Ramires is back in the squad. But the Premier League is a heavy workload compared to the Portuguese league. [LNB]'He's not like the traditional Brazilian, though. It's not just all about his skills. His work ethic is first-class.[LNB]'The match against Manchester City was only his third game. Criticism of him at this stage is unfair. We have got to give him time.'[LNB] Hold fire: Ray Wilkins says it is too early to criticise Ramires who is still adapting to English football[LNB]Wilkins admitted that Ancelotti's bad news has affected the Chelsea camp, ahead of their Sunday clash with Arsenal, saying: 'It's obviously extremely unpleasant times for Carlo and his family. [LNB]Grieving: Wilkins hopes Carlo Ancelotti will be back on Saturday[LNB]'The players were down. They were saddened by the news. He's going to join us in the hotel on Saturday evening.[LNB]'He might come back on Saturday and not feel up to it - please god, let that not be the case. But he's football-mad.' [LNB]Discussing Arsenal, he added: 'It surprises me that Arsenal have not won a trophy since 2005 with the football that they play. We enjoy these games.[LNB]'It's unusual for us to be coming into a game after two domestic defeats on the spin (against Manchester City in the league and Newcastle in the Carling Cup).' [LNB]Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has a particularly impressive record against Arsenal, having netted 12 goals in 12 appearances when facing Arsene Wenger's men - including four in two league games last season. [LNB]Wilkins said: 'When the big games come around - against Arsenal, Manchester United - he always does extremely well. [LNB]'When the spotlight is on him, he rises to the occasion.' Didier makes the difference!
