Franck Ribery puts Chelsea and Real Madrid on 10 day standby

Chelsea target Franck Ribery has admitted he intends to make a final decision over his uncertain Bayern Munich future within the next 10 days.

The 27-year-old's Bayern deal expires in 2011 but, if he does not commit himself to the Bundesliga outfit, there is little chance of them holding on to him for the final 12 months of his contract and then allowing him to walk away for free.

The France international, previously linked with a move to Manchester United, hinted last month he would favour a move to Spain if he opted to leave Bavaria rather than play in the Premier League, but insisted no decision had been taken.

Final decision: Ribery will decide whether to stay at Bayern Munich within 10 days

Ribery revealed Real Madrid, Barcelona and Chelsea remain in the running to sign him but claims he has still not made up his mind but plans to do so in the near future.
