Gary Pallister and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink preview the Manchester United v Chelsea FA Cup game this weekend.

Both sides suffered European heartbreak this week, with Manchester United being knocked out of the Champions League and Chelsea facing Europa League elimination from Steaua Bucharest. An FA Cup victory could act as a catalyst to each sides campaign - who's eyes are now solely fixed on the domestic crown. Arguably the two favourites for the competition, this weekends game promises to be a classic cup battle between two huge teams.

Former Chelsea forward Jimmy Floyd hasselbaink is joined by Ex Manchester United defender Gary Pallister in a quick preview of this weekend's FA Cup quarter-final.

Hasselbaink hit 70 goals in 136 league appearances for Chelsea in a four year spell. He was the leading goal scorer for the club three times in four years at the club, and was capped by the Netherlands 23 times, scoring 9 goals. He formed a productive partnership with Iceland striker Eiður Guðjohnsen in his second year with Chelsea, scoring 29 goals in all competitions and helping Guðjohnsen to 23 in a season which also saw Chelsea reach the FA Cup final. Hasselbaink finished his Chelsea career with 87 goals in all competitions for Chelsea.

Gary Pallister spent nine years at Manchester United from 1989 to 1998. A tough, battling centre half. Pallister produced excellent defensive displays with Steve Bruce in Manchester United's early dominance in the Premier League. During his time at Manchester United, Pallister won the FA Cup in 1990, 1994 and 1996, UEFA Cup Winners' Cup in 1991, Football League Cup in 1992, and the Premier League title in 1993, 1994, 1996 and 1997.
