Ferreira extends stay at Latics
League One outfit Oldham have extended the loan deal of winger Fabio Ferreira for a second month from Premier League side Chelsea.Ferreira has yet to feature at Boundary Park following his arrival in February, but new boss Joe Royle has been sufficiently impressed by the 19-year-old's performances in training.Ferreira will now stay with the Latics until the end of April and boost their ailing promotion bid."Fabio has looked bright in training and I've asked him to stay here if he hasn't got senior football to go back to at Chelsea," Royle told his club's official website.The former Sporting Lisbon trainee has yet to make a senior appearance for Chelsea after arriving at Stamford Bridge in 2005.[LNB]
