Ex-Chelsea boss Ranieri offers his resignation from Roma post

Roma have yet to accept Ranieri's resignation[LNB] Claudio Ranieri has offered his resignation as coach of Roma, according to reports in Italy.[LNB]The move comes after Ranieri's side surrendered a 3-0 lead to lose 4-3 at Genoa On Sunday, their third straight Serie A defeat.[LNB]According to a report on gazzetta.it, Ranieri told his players: 'I am resigning. I have always thought the best for Roma.'[LNB]The club are yet to accept Ranieri's resignation, with an announcement expected in the next 24 hours.[LNB]'We will pause for reflection,' said director Gian Paolo Montali.
