Everton are ready to make a £15million move for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Stephane Sessegnon. David Moyes watched the Benin international take part in PSG's French League season opener at Montpellier on Saturday. Everton were among a number of English clubs linked with the 25-year-old earlier in the summer when Sessegnon demanded an improved contract. The playmaker got his way and agreed a new deal last month, which was thought to have seen off interest reportedly from Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal, and Manchester City. However, respected French newspaper L'Equipe says Everton have not given up hope of signing a player who arrived at the Parc des Princes from Le Mans for just £6m last summer. Sessegnon played 43 games, scoring six goals and providing five assists in his debut season with PSG. He played in the Emirates Cup at Arsenal recently and his country are in good shape to make the Africa Cup of Nations, which would rule him out of part of the new season.
