Eden Hazard the best in the Premier League - Thierry Henry

Some may look at the way Alexis Sanchez propelled Arsenal in their time of difficulty or how Sergio Aguero continually manages to keep Manchester City in the title race. Harry Kane is also a worthwhile candidate for the Premier League’s best player this season but Thierry Henry, a living legend reckons Chelsea’s Eden Hazard has been the best player this season.

“On his day, nobody can stop him. He has such great quality on the ball; he can create something from nothing and that is a sign of a special player,”-(Thierry Henry) indeed he has proved to be special for Chelsea as he seems to be right on cue to unlock stubborn defences just when he is needed. His 11 goals and 6 assists have added significantly to Chelsea’s title charge and triumph in the League Cup. His dribbling talent has also ensured that he is on record the best dribbler in the top 5 European Leagues with more dribbles completed than Lionel Messi and Frank Ribery in second and third place respectively.

Jose Mourinho may have had troubles with Hazard’s contribution in defence last season but that is all gone as the Belgian seems to be performing his duties to the letter. Not just marauding through the opposition defence but also tracking back for the team’s defensive solidity.

In most circles he is thought to be the most complete player in English Football this season with some even looking to him to be the best in the world provided he starts scoring a bit more than he is.
