Valencia outcast David Albelda has claimed that both Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are keen to end his Mestalla nightmare.
The 30-year-old Spain international midfielder is one of three players who have been dropped from the Valencia squad by Ronald Koeman and told that they will not play for the club again.
However, it appears that Albelda is not short of offers, even if he is still angry at the way he has been treated in recent times.
He told The Independent: "I am grateful to Tottenham and Chelsea for their interest, but I cannot negotiate until I have sorted out my departure from Valencia.
"I do not deserve what they are doing to me and the truth is that I do not know the reason and I would like to. I just hope they do explain.
"The coaching staff wants us not to have contact with the rest of the squad. They have even changed the system when we meet, so that we do not train with the players.
"This has already caused irrevocable damage and I am going to defend my rights to the end, especially after the terrible way the directors have treated me.
"I renewed with Valencia and turned down higher offers to stay here with my hometown club.
"I know that when clubs have come in to ask about me they have been told my buy-out clause price."
