Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has re-ignited the speculation surrounding his future after admitting he only joined the club because of the influence of former coach Jose Mourinho.
The Ivory Coast striker has been linked with a move to Internazionale where he would again join up with Mourinho in his new role with the Italian champions.
And Drogba's revelation that he only moved to Stamford Bridge in a £24million deal in July 2004 from Marseille because of the Portuguese coach will cast further doubt over his commitment to the Blues and future at the London club.
He is quoted as saying: "To be honest I did not want to leave Marseille.
"But a coach took the time to speak to me and made me understand that to become one of the best strikers in the world I had to sign with Chelsea.
"This man is Jose Mourinho, a man I have a fantastic relationship with.
"He made me understand that refusing to join Chelsea would have been like a lack of ambition."
