Drogba pledges future to Blues

Ivory Coast international Didier Drogba claims he has decided to remain at Chelsea for the next two seasons.

The 30-year-old has been linked with Barcelona, AC Milan and Internazionale throughout the summer, but insists he has no intention of leaving Stamford Bridge.

"I have always said that I am very happy at Chelsea," he told France Football.

"It's a great team with great players and a great coach.

"Everything's going well here and I have two years left on my contract and I will spend them at Chelsea."

Drogba, who has been unsettled since Jose Mourinho left Stamford Bridge last September, missed the Blues' pre-season tour of Asia and Russia through injury.

Manager Luiz Felipe Scolari expects the forward to miss at least the first two Premier League games of the season - against Portsmouth and Wigan Athletic.
