Striker Didier Drogba wants to extend his stay with Chelsea beyond the end of his current contract.[LNB] The Ivory Coast international's existing deal is due to expire at the end of next season and he has been regularly linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge.[LNB]Drogba was signed by former boss Jose Mourinho and enjoyed a close relationship with the Portuguese coach. He remained a key member of the squad under Avram Grant before falling out of favour under Luiz Felipe Scolari.[LNB]With Scolari axed after just seven months at the helm and Guus Hiddink brought in as his replacement until the end of the season, former Marseille striker Drogba has been quick to throw his weight behind the Dutchman.[LNB]And the powerful forward insists he has no plans to leave the West London club and is eager to help the Blues secure more silverware.[LNB]HappyDrogba told The Sun: "I am happy with everyone here and want to be a Chelsea player. [LNB]"I want people to stop talking about me going back to Marseille or going to Inter Milan. [LNB]"When Jose Mourinho left I was unhappy but that is past now and I am allowed to change my mind. [LNB]"I want to stay until the end of my contract. I love the fans. [LNB]"My family love it here and we want to stay. There have been no talks about extending my deal but there is time for that. [LNB]"I would stay if they offered me a new deal. [LNB]"I know that first I need to show I am still the Didier Drogba this club knows." [LNB]Not trueDrogba was reported to have met with Inter Milan officials, where Mourinho is now manager, last season but he has again refuted those reports.[LNB]He added: "I was supposed to have met an Inter director at a restaurant next to Stamford Bridge and that's not true. [LNB]"With Chelsea, I'm with one of the best teams in the world. [LNB]"The only trophy we are missing is the Champions League and I want to win it with Chelsea and bring it back to the Bridge."[LNB]
