Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has made contact with Belgian starlet Romelu Lukaku to try and convince him to move to Stamford Bridge.[LNB] A host of clubs are looking at the 17-year-old - ironically labelled 'the new Drogba' - but Chelsea are understood to be leading the chase having been on his trail for over 12 months.[LNB]Lukaku is a self-confessed Chelsea fan and now Drogba is looking to help his employers by letting him now how much he is wanted at Stamford Bridge.[LNB]"Yes, I called him," Drogba told Voetbal Magazine.[LNB]"I received his phone number from Vincent Kompany. 'You should sign for Chelsea,' I told him."[LNB]Since Chelsea first targeted Lukaku, his reputation has rocketed as he has become a firm fixture in Anderlecht's first team and finished the season with 15 goals to become the top scorer in the Jupiler League.[LNB]Despite being just 16 at the time, Lukaku was handed his first cap by Belgium in March this year.
