Drogba happy with form
Didier Drogba is delighted to be putting his early season woes behind him.
The Chelsea striker is hitting form for the Blues and new boss Guus
Hiddink appears to be fully behind the Ivorian star.
Drogba has bagged three goals in five games since Hiddink took over the helm at Stamford Bridge.
But Drogba insists that Hiddink has not singled him out for special
treatment, he is merely showing confidence in him by picking him.
"You don't need to speak every day to a player. Just the fact I'm in the team is enough and means a lot. He doesn't need to speak to me," he told The Sun.
"He has picked me in the squad and in the team. Then I know what I have to do.
"When you are scoring goals it's good, your confidence is getting higher."
Out of sortsDrogba admits it was hard being out of sorts earlier in the season, but he was now delighted to be finding the back of the net again.
"When I came back it was very difficult for me. That's football. When everything is going well, nobody speaks. But when you have some bad moments, everyone is asking 'Why?'" he opined.
"I feel 100 per cent now. Physically, I have to work a little bit more to improve my chances of going into the game.
"You just work, work and work and want to improve. If you continue to do that, something good will happen to you. I kept working hard and now people are forgetting what has happened over the past few months."
