Didier Drogba has given Chelsea a boost ahead of their UEFA Champions League clash with Liverpool by returning to training.
Drogba missed Saturday's 2-0 victory over Newcastle after picking an ankle injury during a shooting drill the day before.
However, he looks set to be available for Wednesday's European encounter after making good progress in his recovery over the weekend.
A statement on the club's official website read: "Didier Drogba has just completed a full training session and is looking good."
Drogba has been in fine form under Guus Hiddink and will be eager to play a full part at Anfield.
The Blues, who knocked Liverpool out of the Champions League last season, will want to take control of the tie ahead of next Tuesday's return leg at Stamford Bridge.
