Marseille chairman Pape Diouf has laughed off reports that Chelsea striker Didier Drogba could be lured back to the French club.
The Ivory Coast striker left the Stade Velodrome four years ago in a £24million deal to join the Stamford Bridge club.
Drogba is rumoured to be unhappy in London following Chelsea's decision to part company with former manager Jose Mourinho last season and has been linked with moves to AC Milan, Internazionale and Barcelona this summer.
But amid reports that a group of Marseille fans have started an ambitious fund to buy back the striker, Diouf has denied suggestions he could be in line for a sensational return.
"I'm surprised and amused," he said. "It shows the true passion of our supporters. I know what Drogba earns at Chelsea!"
