Didier Drogba in shock return to Chelsea

According to French Source Le10Sport, Jose Mourinho wants to bring back Chelsea legend Didier Drogba.

The 35-year-old Ivorian left Chelsea last May for Chinese side Shanghai Shenhua but made a quick return to European football with a move to Turkish giants Galatasaray in January.

Drogba managed six goals and six assists in just 14 appearances in Istanbul and also helped his side to the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Drogba’s contract with Galatasaray is due to end in the summer of 2014, but this source believes a move back to Stamford Bridge is possible.

Mourinho purchased Drogba in a £24m deal in July 2004, one of the Portuguese manager’s first Chelsea signings, and the powerful forward went on to become one of the Blues best ever performers and a firm favourite with the club’s supporters.
