Fire all your England related talk to me at dan.ripley@dailymail.co.uk[LNB] Denmark 1-2 England (7.15pm)Denmark: Sorensen, Christian Poulsen,Jorgensen (Kjaer 46), Agger, Simon Poulsen (Wass 46), Jacobsen (Silberbauer 60), Kvist (Vingaard 90), Eriksen, Krohn-Delhi (Pedersen 70),Rommedahl, Bendtner.Subs: Lindegaard, Schone, Junker, Lorentzen, Enevoldsen.[LNB]Goals: Agger 8.[LNB]England: Hart, Johnson, Dawson (Cahill 60), Terry, Ashley Cole (Baines 81), Lampard (Parker 46), Wilshere (Barry 46),Walcott (Downing 67), Rooney (Young 46), Milner, Bent.Subs: Green, Walker, Lescott,Defoe, Carlton Cole, Stockdale.[LNB]Goals: Bent 10, Young 68.[LNB]Referee: Jonas Eriksson (Sweden) [LNB]21.25: So are England back to their best? Hard to judge on a friendly obviously but there were many positives to take out of that match.[LNB]The big test will await at Wales next month and it should be interesting to see if Steven Gerrard can crowbar his way back in the team.[LNB]Check back at the weekend for Sportsmail's live coverage of the Premier League but for now, thank you for following and good night.[LNB]21.23: And finally from Fabio himself:[LNB]I''m happy with the result and happy with all the players.[LNB]'We played with confidence but in the first half our midfield was slightly too close to the back line.[LNB]'Wilshere done well tonight and I am pleased with him but it's too early to decide if he will start against Wales.'[LNB]21.20: And from Jack Wilshere:[LNB]'I'm delighted to play for my country whether it's 45 minutes or not and I didn't think I played too badly.[LNB]'It helps with the players I had around me today though and it wasn't that difficult to adapt as I play in a similar position at Arsenal.'[LNB]21.18: Some words from Ashley Young:[LNB]'Thegoal ranks up there with one of best, every player in the dressing roomwants to put on the England shirt whether it's a friendly or aqualifier.[LNB]'You could see from our response after going a goal down that we were willing to fight to get back into the game.'[LNB]21.15: A very good performance from England. The Danes faded in the second period but England were full value for their victory. Capello got it spot on tonight.[LNB]Full-time: Denmark 1-2 England[LNB]90+3min: And there is our first and probable last yellow card after Kjaer clatters into Young out on the left.[LNB]90+1min: Three minutes added on.[LNB]90min: Final sub from Denmark, Martin Vingaard is on for the struggling William Kvist.[LNB]89min: And that sums up England in the last 10 minutes. Baines escapes down the left flank but with the intention of crossing the ball, looks up to find nobody in the box.[LNB]86min: Scotland have gone 3-0 up against Northern Ireland through Kris Commons.[LNB]85min: England just easing off a bit now, the English national anthem is blaring inside the ground it really does feel like a home fixture for Capello's side.[LNB]81min: Cole was the captain when Lampard went off but now even he has been replaced himself, with Leighton Baines coming on. Barry is your skipper for the last 10 minutes.[LNB]81min: Even Eriksen has gone off the boil, firing well over from 25 yards.[LNB]79min: And that sums up the Danes in this half. Rommedahl attempts a chip into the box but only succeeds in giving Hart an easy take, they really are out of ideas.[LNB]76min: Here comes the professional job, England with a large chunk of possession in the last five minutes. As good as this is to watch, why could they not do this in South Africa?[LNB] Super sub: Ashley Young came off the bench to put England in front[LNB]73min: It really has been an impressive performance from England this half, Denmark have hardly had a sniff outside that Rommedahl chance.[LNB]70min: Denmark respond with a sub of their own, Nicklas Pedersen replacing Krohn-Delhi.[LNB]68min: GOAL! Denmark 1-2 ENGLAND[LNB]Brilliant goal, Glen Johnson does well to win the ball on the right and after scampering to the edge of the box, feeds in Ashley Young who bullets a shot right into the bottom corner. It has been coming.[LNB]67min: More subs from England, Stewart Downing replacing Walcott.[LNB]65min: Eriksen is back. He produces a neat back heel inside the penalty box that finds an unmarked Rommedahl, whose shot across goal is again saved by Hart who manges to hold onto the low shot.[LNB]63min: That is unlucky, Bent looks to have beat the offside trap when he latches onto Young's ball over the top but he is flagged offside. Looked a bit harsh that.[LNB]60min: On the hour, a sub from both sides. Gary Cahill is on for Dawson while Michael Silberbauer replaces Lars Jacobsen.[LNB]58min: England the better side this half but are just lacking that cutting edge up front. Parker does well to win the ball at the back and after a counter attack that involves Walcott, Young and Bent, the latter's shot is blocked into the comfortable hands of Sorensen.[LNB]56min: Sharp from Milner, he plays a well disguised through ball for Bent but under pressure inside the box the Aston Villa striker fires wide first time with his weaker left foot.[LNB] Club and country rivals: Tottenham's Michael Dawson (left) battles with Arsenal's Nicklas Bendtner in the air[LNB]55min: England playing a few interesting passes this half, both Milner and Dawson have played long diagonal balls so far which have seemed to trouble the Danes at the back. A weakness spotted perhaps?[LNB]52min: More good play from England, this time it's Young with the header from Milner's cross but it's too close to Sorensen to cause much trouble.[LNB]51min: First chance of the half for England, Young chips a delightful ball into the six yard box but Bent's header is kept out by Sorensen who threw himself at the striker to prevent him getting an angle.[LNB]48min: Small update in the Nations Cup. Scotland are 2-0 up against Northern Ireland thanks to goals from Kenny Miller and James McArthur.[LNB]46min: Subs from the Danes too, Daniel Wass is on for Simon Poulsen while Simon Kjaer is on for Jorgensen.[LNB]Second-half: Right here comes the mad subs. Lampard, Rooney and Wilshere are all coming off and in their place, Scott Parker, Ashley Young and Gareth Barry are on.[LNB]20.18: As for England's own future star. Wilshere has shown flashes of genius but has been caught out of position two or three times already. There is plenty to come from him yet that's for sure.[LNB]20.16: Well I say Danish side, mainly Eriksen. He ran riot on those first 45 minutes and looks a real prospect.[LNB]20.13: Overall that was a good first half of football. I have been accustomed to getting out a tin of Dulux for England friendlies but this has been a good performance against what has been an impressive Danish side.[LNB]Half-time: Denmark 1-1 England[LNB]45+1min: That was desperate for a touch! Eriksen curls in a beauty of a long ball from a free-kick 35 yards out to the right, but Agger is just shy from making contact six yards out.[LNB]45min: Just the one minute added on.[LNB]43min: Game has settled again, looks like both teams just winding the clock down until half-time.[LNB]40min: Response from England though, Walcott finds Lampard free in the box who produces a clever back heel that looks superb as it settles in the bottom corner. Only problem is he is offside.[LNB]37min: It's Eriksen again! He has Wilshere exactly where he wants him before slipping in Rommedahl down the right, with the winger's powerful effort across goal well tipped behind by Hart.[LNB]34min: I thought he had gone quite. Eriksen ghosts away from Lampard on the edge of the box after receiving a pass from Bendtner before firing a thunderbolt that cannons off the post with Michael Krohn-Delhi firing over the rebound. Hart was well beaten, this kid seems to have it all.[LNB] Jack the lad: Denmark's Christian Poulsen (floor) wins the ball from Jack Wilshere[LNB]32min: Plenty of talk about Jack Wilshere playing a 'quarter-back' role in this game and so far it's showing promise.[LNB]Once or twice already he has found Rooney and Bent with some superb passes.[LNB]29min: Maybe I have been slightly spoiled after that start but the chances seemed to have dried up. Plenty of commitment from the players though, Lampard crunching in to a tackle to prevent Christian Poulsen starting a counter attack.[LNB]26min: And now it's England's turn to keep possession. Mind you it makes a change from lumping it up field in hope every four passes.[LNB]23min: Slowest part of the match so far. The Danes are just slowly knocking it about in midfield and Capello seems furious, urging his side to push out.[LNB]20min: Good work from James Milner, in a similar position to goal he fizzes a ball across the six yard box but Bent is just unable to make contact.[LNB] Simple: Darren Bent profited from Theo Walcott's good play on the right to equalise for England[LNB]19min: The Danes are doing all the pressing and win another corner after Ashley Cole slides the ball out to safety in a sprint for a loose ball with Dennis Rommedahl. The former Charlton winger is no slouch you know.[LNB]18min: He is proving a bit of a handful is Eriksen. He receives the ball on the edge of the box and after his feint fools a couple of England players his eventual shot is blocked out by Dawson for a corner.[LNB]16min: It's an away game but you would not have thought it listening to the crowd. 'Rule Britannia' ringing around the ground.[LNB]13min: Denmark run straight up the other end after a mistake in England's midfield but this time after giving away a corner, England clear their lines...properly.[LNB]10min: GOAL! Denmark 1-1 ENGLAND[LNB]What a brilliant start to the match this is. Theo Walcott steals the ball off Simon Poulsen inside the box on the right before finding space to get a low cross into the six yard box for Darren Bent to tap home the simplest of equalisers.[LNB] Head ache: Denmark took an early lead through Daniel Agger's header[LNB]8min: GOAL! DENMARK 1-0 England[LNB]I should learn to shut up. Eriksen gets the ball back before pinging in a perfect cross deep from the right that Daniel Agger beats Michael Dawson to, heading the Danes in front. Hart had no chance.[LNB]7min: Denmark win the first corner but Eriksen is not that good after all with his cross easily cleared.[LNB]4min: Quite simply have to score. Darren Bent latches onto a poor back pass but after he is just pipped to the ball by Sorensen, Wayne Rooney picks up the pieces before seeing his shot blocked on the line.[LNB]Moments earlier Bendtner mugged Glen Johnson off the ball before firing wide after a couple of step-overs. Fine start to this match.[LNB]3min: Told you that Christian Eriksen was pretty handy. Already he splits the defence with a great through pass but Nicklas Bendtner is flagged slightly offside before Joe Hart saves his effort at the near post.[LNB]1min: I'm glad this is a friendly by the way, a Scandinavian in charge? Hmmm.[LNB]Kick-off: Denmark kick us off.[LNB]19.14: Teams are out with both national anthems well respected, though I swear the Denmark one has no instruments at all - makes it sound a bit flat to be fair.[LNB]19.10: Teams lining up in the tunnel, quite a few fans in the ground, including many England supporters.[LNB]19.05: Full team news is in:[LNB]Denmark v EnglandDenmark: Sorensen, Christian Poulsen, Jorgensen, Agger, Simon Poulsen, Jacobsen, Kvist, Eriksen, Krohn-Delhi, Rommedahl, Bendtner. Subs: Lindegaard, Wass, Kjaer, Silberbauer, Schone, Vingaard, Junker, Lorentzen, Enevoldsen, Pedersen.England: Hart, Johnson, Dawson, Terry, Ashley Cole, Lampard, Wilshere, Walcott, Rooney, Milner, Bent. Subs: Green, Walker, Cahill, Lescott, Baines, Downing, Parker, Barry, Young, Defoe, Carlton Cole, Stockdale.[LNB]19.01: In nearly every game I have seen Chelsea play away this season, Ashley Cole has been booed. But at least he earns the country's respect for his talent on the football pitch after being named England's player of the year for 2010. (Though I admit not a huge choice of candidates there).[LNB]Click here to read the full-back's opinion on winning over the fans.[LNB] There goes another: In 2005 Jon Dahl Tomasson scores past David James on a night where the second-half sub admitted to not being ready. Below Thomas Sorensen is about to give England a helping hand into the World Cup quarter-finals[LNB] [LNB] 18.57: Just goes to show what a selective memory I have. Off the top of my head I thought England's last match against the Danes was that glorious 3-0 win back in the 2002 World Cup.[LNB]But nope, after some digging around, I have found we have lost our last two fixtures. First was a 3-2 defeat a year later and in 2005 quite humiliatingly when Denmark ran out 4-1 winners. We owe 'em.[LNB]18.53: And speaking of weird kick-off times, check out England women's next match, talk about being fussy![LNB]18.48: Speaking of Frank Lampard, I was very surprised to lean he had never captained the national side.[LNB]He has had the fans on his back in recent years, but I don't think you can ever question his commitment in an England shirt. I just hope his last major contribution to the Three Lions' cause is not having THAT goal ruled out against Germany at the World Cup.[LNB]18.45: Right there is plenty of pre-match reading for you if you click on the links below Lamps, but also this piece from Matt Barlow regarding the Danes' secret weapon...[LNB]18.40: And on the subject of that France friendly, I hope England don't play like that again tonight. That 2-1 defeat at Wembley in November was a flattering result for Capello's men though I must admit on paper at least, tonight's side looks stronger.[LNB]18.35: Ashley Cole becomes England's most capped full-back in tonight's friendly. The Chelsea defender is making his 87th appearance for his country and moves one cap ahead of Kenny Sansom.[LNB]As expected, England head coach Fabio Capello hands a first start to Arsenal teenager Jack Wilshere.[LNB]Capello makes nine changes from the side which lost at home to France in England's last international in November, with Theo Walcott and James Milner the only survivors.[LNB]Denmark include five Barclays Premier League players in their line-up in Thomas Sorensen, Christian Poulsen, Daniel Agger, Lars Jacobsen and Nicklas Bendtner.[LNB]18.30: First up well done for those of you switched on enough to know England kick off at a slightly earlier time of 7.15pm tonight. I had to double take myself after seeing that but it's the Danish way I suppose.[LNB]Second up here, is the starting XI for England with full lineups on the way:[LNB]Hart, Johnson,Dawson, Terry, A Cole, Lampard, Wilshere, Walcott, Milner, Rooney, Bent.[LNB] Proud moment: Frank Lampard will captain England against Denmark[LNB]  Cracker Jack! Wilshere can match Baresi, Raul and Maldini, says CapelloLampard: I'll be so proud to captain England against DenmarkLampard Snr won't miss his son's big moment in Copenhagen[LNB]  Explore more:People: Fabio Capello, Ashley Cole, Lars Jacobsen, Daniel Agger, Jack Wilshere, Theo Walcott, James Milner, Nicklas Bendtner, Christian Poulsen, Frank Lampard, Carlton Cole, Jonas Eriksson, Glen Johnson, Darren Bent, Joe Hart, Michael Dawson, Wayne Rooney, Ashley Young, Gareth Barry, Gary Cahill, Stewart Downing, Steven Gerrard Places: Copenhagen, France, Denmark, United Kingdom, Wales, Germany, Scotland, Northern Ireland, South Africa
