Demba Ba faces battle to save his Chelsea career

Demba Ba is facing a battle to save his Chelsea career after just FIVE months at Stamford Bridge.

Ba signed to the Europa League champions from Newcastle in January for £7million.

But the return of Jose Mourinho has put the Sengalese international’s Chelsea career in doubt as the gaffer looks to chop and change the current line-up.

Reports of Ba’s exit come as a surprise, but Jose is on the hunt for new strikers in the form of Andre Schurrle, Cavani, Hulk and perhaps even bring back Roman Lukaku, who has had an excellent season with West Bromwich Albion.

Also, if Manchester United decide to sell, Mourinho will push to sign Wayne Rooney.

It would be a shame to see Ba leave so soon. Some of his six goals for the Blue’s have been important ones.

The clock is ticking for Ba. He has very little time to dramatically change Mourinho’s mind, who will, in no doubt, have no second thoughts in shipping him out.
